The font used in the Car and Driver logo is "Druk Text Wide." Berton Hasebe created this font. Car and Driver magazine's logo font is very similar to Class A and Sport car brands. This logo font employs a knowledgeable style reminiscent of luxury styles. Drive the word between the two words car and surround the flag with two vertical blue and red lines.
Car and Driver, the notoriously irreverent auto magazine, has been completely redesigned, with a lot of Interstate used for text and display in both condensed and regular widths. Gliko Modern and Gliko Modern Condensed are used for headings and other large texts. Freight Text is used for the body copy.
The magazine retained the previous nameplate, which had been in use since August 1966. (To be more specific, the 1966 nameplate had the word "and" in lowercase.) The current design, with the word "AND" in caps, first appeared in May 1983.) It appears to be helvetica neue font, possibly with some redrawing
